Resumé: Ce travail a pour objectif l'étude de l'influence de certains paramètres (pH, rapport de concentration, dose d'argile) sur l'évolution du rendement d'adsorption de deux métaux lourds le zinc (Zn(II)) et le plomb (Pb(II)) dans une même solution aqueuse par une argile activée par un sel d'ammonium. Les résultats obtenus ont montrés que les trois facteurs (pH, rapport de concentration Rc, dose d'argile d ont des effets significatifs sur l'adsorption du zinc et du plomb. Le pH est celui qui a l'effet le plus important. Pour l'adsorption du plomb en présence du zinc, L'interaction entre le pH et la dose d'argile et l'interaction entre le pH et le rapport des concentrations ont des effets significatifs, Il n'y a pas d'effet d'interaction significatif entre la dose d'argile et le rapport des concentrations. The COVID-19 pandemic has upraised office and work life, becoming a powerful incentive bringing a change at workplace. Many questions have been raised regarding the sustainability of this new way of working, particularly in terms of workplace productivity due to the sudden and extreme shift in the lives of people. The role and purpose of physical offices in the future is the most fundamental query raised. Newly required policies outlined by government and healthcare agencies around the world must be implemented by the companies in order to return the employees back to work safely. This project aims at developing a wearable design that can be used by the employees at offices for monitoring their oxygen saturation, temperature detection, attendance recording and for self-purchasing at cafeteria. Employees working at offices thereby can return back to their normal working schedule ensuring proper safety measures, thus reducing the global burden caused as a result of the pandemic.

This paper introduces the use of Genetic Algorithm to identify the best formwork design for slab and beam utilising the best section of joists, stringers, and shores, as well as their spacing, while keeping costs to a minimum. Genetic Algorithms is an approach for solving optimization issues that is based on the ideas of natural selection and evolution. The optimization issue is constrained by the bending moment, shear, maximum deflection, and other required ACI code restrictions. The formwork design problem is solved using Genetic Algorithm, which offers optimum design parameters such as the ideal cross section for form members, optimum spacing of form members. In the design of the optimization problem's objective function, the cost of material and labour involved in formwork erection is taken into account. The established method can be used to design formwork for high-rise concrete structures.

In recent years, sensitivity to sweeteners, such as aspartame, saccharine, xylitol and D-sorbitol during childhood and adolescence has increased. More sugar consumption means more calories consumed, which can contribute to disorders like obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular problems in the human body. However, the healthy use of the sweeteners has been challenged. In the human diet, multiple sweeteners are added to replace sucrose. They had their own constraints and concerns, however, particularly in terms of their taste and their long-term health effects. Artificial sweeteners, sometimes known as sugar substitutes, are widely used in the processed food, dairy, and pharmaceutical industries. Increased consumer understanding of the adverse health effects of eating excess added sugars has contributed to a rise in sucrose substitution in foods and beverages. Total energy consumption in Vietnam has doubled in the last decade. Investigating the factors that make changes in the use of energy is crucial for future predictions. Decomposition analysis enables the quantification of factors contributing to the change of aggregate energy. This study attempts to analyze the main factors' effect on the overall change in total energy consumption in Vietnam from 1990 to 2018 using Logarithmic Mean Divisia Index (LMDI). LMDI decomposes the overall change in energy use into three effects, namely activity, structural, and intensity effects. Results of the study show that the increase in Vietnamese energy consumption is primarily due to economies of activity. Structural factors and intensity in the recent period have changed in the direction of reducing total energy demand, reflecting the technology development and production efficiency

In IC manufacturing, the process of printing IC patterns on silicon wafer by using an opt-mechanical approach is called lithography [2]. Precise wafer stage movement in the wafer scanning process is one of the determining factors to improve the performance of IC manufacturing. This stringent precision requirement of the wafer scanning process is backed by an advanced controlling algorithm to meet its precision requirement.
