It is premise and basis for development work to establish accurate isochronous stratigraphic framework of high resolution according to the specific situation of the regional strata. It is an important condition for deepening single sand distribution to contrast on the transverse accurately. To the environment of river-delta facies, this paper takes Fuyu reservoir in Zhou13 Block for example to introduce method of stratigraphic division and correlation.Firstly, to start from determining marker bed and standard well, then to divide strata into small layers going aroud standard well and contrast outside step by step.In the end, we will finish setting up the unified stratigraphic framework of the whole block.

Yanji basin is a Mesozoic Cenozoic rift basin, which mainly developed lower Cretaceous layer. Studying the characteristics of the lower Cretaceous reservoir has an important theoretical significance for petroleum exploration in this area. Through scanning electron microscope, casting thin sections, ordinary slice and the studying the files of porosity and permeability, this essay analyzes in detail the characteristics of the reservoir rocks in the lower Cretaceous of Yan Ji basin, and studied systematically the effect of the diagenesis of the lower Cretaceous reservoir on reservoir's physical property as well. The results show that the sandstone reservoir rocks in the lower Cretaceous of Yan Ji basin are feldspar sandstone, feldspar sandstone and feldspar debris sandstone. The overall density of the reservoir is dense and particle slightly better, the physical grade should belong to the low porosity and extra-low permeability; The prime factors affecting the physical properties of reservoir is diagenesis .The main diagenesis types include mechanical compaction, cementation, dissolution.

The study was designed to determine the Comparative Effects of Scaffolding and Collaborative Instructional Approaches on Secondary School Students' Psychomotor Achievement in Basic Electronics in North Central, Nigeria. The study adopted quasi-experimental, pre-test post-test non-equivalent control group design. The area of study was Benue, Nasarawa, and Niger states. A total of 105 SS II students, comprising of 77 males and 28 females, took part in the study. Two research questions and three hypotheses tested at .05 level of significance guided the study. The research instrument: Basic Electronics Psychomotor Achievement Test (BEPAT) was developed, validated, pilot tested and used for the study. The inter-ratter reliability of BEPAT was calculated using Spearman rank order correlation coefficient and was found to be 0.83. Mean was used to answer the research questions, while ANCOVA was used to test the hypotheses. Findings revealed that scaffolding and collaborative instructional approaches are effective in improving student achievement in Basic Electronics. However, collaborative instructional approach is more effective than scaffolding instructional approach. Also, there is no statistically significant difference between the mean scores of male and female students when taught Basic Electronics using scaffolding and collaborative instructional approaches. It was therefore recommended that teachers of Electronics in secondary schools should adopt collaborative instructional approach for teaching the subject.

Electrocardiography generates signals referred to as Electrocardiographic signals or simply ECG which describes the electrical activities of the heart and is very vital in the clinical monitoring and diagnosis of the health conditions of the human heart. Naturally during acquisition, the ECG signals get distorted by different artifacts such as Baseline Wander, Muscle Contractions, Equipment Artifact, Powerline Interference etc., which must be removed otherwise incorrect information regarding the patient's heart condition will be conveyed. However, the most significant signal that corrupt the ECG is Powerline Interference. Hence, for correct extraction of the features of the ECG signal there is need to separate the wanted signal from noise caused by these signals that corrupt the ECG. Different types of digital filters can be used to achieve this. In this work, a Modified Triangular Window FIR filter was used for the removal of the 50Hz Powerline interference in the ECG. Using MATLAB The Signal Power before and after filtration using the modified window was determined and compared with that of triangular window and simulation results obtained.

This paper presents modeling of induction machine to achieve sensor-less speed control of induction motor by applying alpha-cut fuzzy logic field oriented controlling (FOC) system. Development of non-linear model of induction machine was the major contribution to this work which takes into consideration the error in flux estimation and use of PI controllers for flux regulation. For speed regulation the model was simplified and with the use of (high gain) P.I controllers it is possible to regulate the q-axis current. With simulations, it is shown that the control methodology highly depends on flux frequency and load, and this has an easier constructional advantage over the conventional drive that requires shaft mounted speed sensor, or other control methods that exhibit much heat dissipation.

Information about the expansive's soil behaviour under load is well captured by monitoring the relationship between stress and strain for a soil. This paper presents the results from a laboratory investigation of stress-strain behaviour development of expansive soils under various confining pressure. The applied confining pressures, are equal to 50, 70 and 90 kPa. The effect of confining pressure on triaxial test before and after swelling is reported. It was found that the stress-strain behavior of expansive clay improved upon the addition of confining pressure on triaxial test before and after swell. The test result have shown a significant decreace in shear strength and elasticity modulus influence of the amount of swell. Both the shear strength and elasticity modulus were reduced by 73% to 88% at the amount of confining pressure after swell triaxial test than before swell.

Many network applications are based on a group communications model where one party sends messages to a large number of authorized recipients and/or receives messages from multiple senders. In this paper we propose a series of novel approaches for achieving scalable security in IP multicast, providing privacy and authentication on a group-wide basis. They can be employed to efficiently secure multi-party applications where members of highly dynamic groups of arbitrary size may participate. The main idea is to have group members actively participate to the security of the multicast group, therefore reducing the communication and computation load on the source. Since the group security is distributed among the group members, A communication model is proposed for dynamic multicast groups which is secure and authenticated. In this scheme a group is established and the text messages are transmitted between the users of the group.
