This paper provides a fair comparison between four most common symmetric key cryptography algorithms: AES, DES, CAST 128 and Blowfish. The comparison takes into consideration the behavior and the performance of the algorithm when different data load are used as the main concern here, is to study the performance of the algorithms under different settings. The comparison is made on the basis of these parameters: speed, block size, and key size........

This paper presents use of polynomial shape function in shear deformation theory for thick plate analysis. Total potential energy equation of a thick plate was formulated from the first principle. This equation was subjected to direct variation to obtain three simultaneous direct governing equations for determination of displacement coefficients. Shape (profile) equation for vertical shear stress through the thickness of the plate was formulated from the first principle. From this profile equation, the deformation line equation (called function of z or s) was obtained. This is the model from this study. A numerical problem for a rectangular plate simply supported around all the edges was used to test the sufficiency of this study. Both polynomial and trigonometric shape functions were used in this problem............

Qijia region is located in the northern Song Liao Basin in the central depression area, Gaotaizi reservoir is a typical tight reservoir, the study of the effects of diagenesis on reservoir properties are conducive to further exploration development. The rock types of Gaotaizi reservoir is mainly lithic arkose. The maturity of element is low, mainly fine-grained. Primary pores are less, secondary pores are mainly intragranular dissolution pores. The average porosity of Gaotaizi reservoir is about 13.34%, the average permeability is 27.41×10-3um2. On the basis of including vitrinite reflectance, the highest pyrolysis temperature, the transformation of clay minerals of Illite/montmorillonite mixing layer, rock features, authigenic mineral assemblage of sandstone, Gaotaizi reservoir is belong to middle diagenesis........

Polymer flooding has become an important means to improve oil recovery, but there are a lot of improvement in the control of the amount of polymer to the largest increase in the economic profit of the technology. For example, the calculation of the amount of polymer is one of the important parameters of block pore volume, the traditional method is the average porosity calculation of the whole block, the average effective thickness, pore volume of product area to calculate the block. But this is only the average value of the block. Actually well point in the block is not distributed evenly, the triangulation method can avoid flat error caused by traditional methods in the thickness of the grinding, reaction pore volume distribution characteristics within the block, which is conducive to the development stage of oilfield development program and the maximum increase economic benefits.

Faults play an important role in the complex fault-block reservoir, fine fault interpretation and combination matter a lot. Aiming at the difficulty of the complex fracture system and fault interpretation, this paper bases on the union of wells and seismic data, and make full use of spectral decomposition, seismic curvature, coherence analysis and frequency mixing with 3 colors, then governs the whole interpretation with 3D structural model. With the use of various methods, we start to identify faults. This technique achieves a good effect in research area, especially for the small fault identifying, overcomes the lack of resolution in seismic data, increase the interpretation accuracy, find and delineate a batch of small faults, and guide the plane distribution and space intersection relation of faults, commit the regional low-amplitude structure, achieve the goal of fine structural interpretation.

In this work, we consider the problem of fluid flow through layered porous media. A generalized algorithm is developed to handle flow through a finite number of layers and is based on casting the governing equation in a binary form that incorporates flow parameters capable of generating the Navier-Stokes equations as well as the well-known models of flow through porous media. A finite difference scheme of third-order accuracy is developed for the velocity and shear stress at the interfaces between layers, and numerical solution is obtained for a number of configurations involving flow in a two-dimensional channel bounded below and above by porous layers.

Spread Spectrum technique is a digital passband technique. It uses a special code which is known only to the transmitter and receiver of that message. The special code appears as a noise signal to the jammer who tries to jam the channel. In this paper, we present the Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum. Firstly, we show an overview of Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum, then, we simulate Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum using MATLAB. The results of simulation are presented in this paper. We are clearly demonstrating the benefits of Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum in a digital communication system in providing privacy and antijamming. The simulation by MATLAB program simplifies the study, analysis and development of these techniques in modern digital communication networks
