Country :: Nigeria
Authors :: UchenduUmeda || Emmanuel O.Ehirim || Kenneth K. Dagde
Page No. :: 01-09

Soil pollution by petroleum and its products in Niger Delta region of Nigeria are predominant due to oil exploration, exploitation and transportation.The aim of this study was to examine the effects of oxygen diffusion onthe physicochemical characteristics of petroleum contaminated sandy loam soils at 100cm depth when there is sufficient availability of indigenous microorganism in the polluted soils. The soil samples were analysis after pollution with Bonny light crude oil. The purpose of the pollution of the soil samples were to simulate conditions of major crude oil spill. Oxygen was diffused through the impacted soils in reactor C. Physicochemical properties of the sandy loam soils considered for analysis were pH, Electrical conductivity, Total organic carbon, Total Nitrogen, Moisture content, Phosphorous and Total petroleum hydrocarbon at two weeks' interval for six weeks using standard methods.........

Key words: Hydrocarbon; Oxygen diffusion; Pollution; Sandy loam soils.

All over the world, people are suffering from various types of diseases. Among them, the diseases related to the brain have a huge impact on the lives and health of the patients. Dementia is one such disease. Dementia is a term that describes a group of symptoms that is associated with rapidly declining mental and memory skills. Alzheimer‟s Disease is a form of dementia that slowly destroys memory and thinking skills and makes it impossible to perform simple tasks. Alzheimer‟s disease is one of the types of the dementia which contribute to 60-80% of mental disorders. Alzheimer's is an irreparable brain disease, impairs thinking and memory while the aggregate mind size shrinks which at last prompts demise. Diagnosis of this disease at an early stage will help the patients to lead a quality life for the remaining of their life. Early diagnosis of AD is important for the progress of more powerful treatments.

Sign language is a language that Deaf people use to communicate with other normal people in the community. Although the sign language is known to hearing-impaired people due to its widespread use among them, it is not known much by other normal people. In this project, we have developed a sign language recognition system for people who do not know sign language, to communicate easily with hearing-impaired people. This project is built to interpret American Sign Language and also provides a complete overview of deep learning-based methodologies for sign language recognition. This will benefit deaf and hearing-impaired people by offering them a flexible interpreting alternative when face-to-face interpreting is not available. And the main purpose of our project is to develop an intelligent system which can act as a translator between normal people and deaf or dumb people, and can be the communication path between people with speaking deficiency and normal people with both effective and efficient way.

Country :: Nigeria
Authors :: Jayesh Dharne || Prof. V. M. Kulkarni
Page No. :: 26-31

In this paper a slotted CPW fed Ultra wide-band antenna operating over the frequency range of to GHz for personal wireless short range communication applications is designed and investigated. The proposed antenna consists of radiating patch, ground plane and CPW feed-line with radial slot in the centre of the radiating patch. The antenna is fabricated on a FR-4 glass epoxy substrate of 1.6mm thickness having loss tangent of 0.02 and dielectric constant of ξr = 4.4 and is investigated using HFSS EM simulation software. The proposed antenna has a compact dimension of 24 × 20 mm2. The antenna has measured VSWR ≤ 2 over the frequency range 3 - 10.8 GHz and exhibits good electrical characteristics in both frequency and time domain. Furthermore, different gain improvement techniques for CPW fed UWB antenna are investigated.

As client requirements are ever changing, continuous modification in the website needed to keep them up to date, so its biggest challenge is to keep the site up and avoid any downtime. Because downtime leads to loss in the earning and also it disappoints the user who uses E-commerce platform. Hence, servers need to be running all the time. We can minimize the downtime of Application by implementing Microservice Architecture. Single Responsibility Principal has been used by Microservice Architecture and they can be deployed independently. They can be scaled and tested independently. They are design and developed as a small application. Now a days, Microservices...........

Drought is one of the most dangerous atmospheric events for agriculture. Every year, damage to the farm as a result of drought in different regions of the world is estimated at $ 1 million. However, in some cases, the damage to the farm is due to other reasons, but it is also related to the droughts. In this article, the matter a bit clarified by using the concept of angle coefficient of the trend. Thus, the angle ratios of the trend and productivity are calculated for a particular given period, and the compatibility between angle ratios for both rows is investigated. If the change between lines is seen, then it is accepted that, drought is the reason of productivity change. Otherwise, the effects of other factors are investigated.

A chatbot is a computer program which controls a conversation through voice or textual methods. These programs are often structured to firmly copy how a human would behave like a conversational partner and thus passing the Turing test. Chatbots are typically used in dialogue systems for different practical purposes including customer service and information acquisition. Few chatbots use complex natural language processing systems. Many simpler chatbot scan for keywords within the input and then fetch a reply with the most matching keywords from a database. Chatbots are also known as smartbot, talkbot, chatterbot, Bot, IM bot, interactive agent, conversational interface, conversational AI, or artificial conversational entity. The objective of the research is to investigate the feasibility of using chatbot technologies to simulate government exams and jobs on the internet...........

Page No. :: 68-75

Cloud computing is one of the most promising technologies in which a good number of the researchers are doing research. Out of the various challenges in this field, one challenge is regarding the precise and reasonable resource provisioning to submitted jobs. Organizations prefer hybrid clouds for keeping their secure data on private cloud and rest of the data on public cloud .Our work involves building and implementing decision making model that will determine route the cloud computing processes will follow to go to appropriate cloud for resource provisioning. The decision is based on parameters such as priority, age and execution time required for the process. The simulation results improve performance in terms of security, accuracy, response time and resource utilization.

Ground water is exploited with little recharge for meeting the increased needs of the society. As a result, the net groundwater availability is decreasing in many parts of the world. There is an urgent need to strike a balance between exploitation and recharge. The groundwater balance status in an academic campus in Mylavaram, Andhra Pradesh is studied for an effective usage period of 225 days in a year neglecting holidays and other vacations. The campus houses needs water to nearly 5000 members on a daily basis. The campus stretches to an area of 62.5 acres, most of it is pervious. The recharge in the campus is studied based on water table fluctuation method and Rainfall infiltration method suggested by Groundwater Assessment Committee recommendations revised in 2017............
