Title :: Seismic Analysis of Steel Braced Reinforced Concrete Multi-Storey Frame
Country :: India
Authors :: Dr. P. S. Lanjewar || Ashish S. Moon || Anupam S. Hirapure
Page No. :: 01-06
The steel bracing system is one of the effective measures for resisting horizontal force like earthquake force or may be wind force which act on the multi-storey building. When steel bracings are use in building they are subjected to tension or compression and steel preferred section can withstand these force can be used. As the steel bracing is used in the building structure they induce stiffness and strength to building structure which helps to reduce their deformation. The present study is focused on the G+10 building when subjected to seismic force with and without steel bracing. In this study the ISLB 225 steel beam section is used as a bracing in the building. The different types of bracing formation are used like X, V- type and Inverted V are modeled by using ETAB software and result of these models are compared with each other as well as with bare frame model. It has been found that the use of steel bracing system can be very helpful to reduce displacement of structure, but the X type braced frame model shows less value among the entire braced frame.

Title :: Sustainable Construction Using EPS Beads in Light Weight Block
Country :: India
Authors :: A.S. Moon || Dr Arun Patel
Page No. :: 07-10

EPS or expanded polystyrene is rigid cellular plastic originally invented in Germany in 1950. It has been used in packaging solutions since 1958. It is 98% air but the rest is made from tiny, spherical EPS beads - themselves made only of carbon and hydrogen. Expanded polystyrene waste in a granular form is used as light weight aggregate to produce light weight non-structural concrete with the unit weight vacillating from 950 kg/m³ to 1350kg/m3. The main objective is to study the properties, such as compressive strength of light weight concrete containing Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) beads. Main Objective is that properties are compared with those of the normal concrete without EPS beads.

Title :: Implementation of Network Intrusion Detection and Prevention using Nidps Technique
Country :: India
Authors :: Monali Bodkhe || Gurudev Savarkar
Page No. :: 11-14

This paper presents an investigation, involving experiments, which shows that current network intrusion, detection, and prevention systems (NIDPSs) have several shortcomings in detecting or preventing rising unwanted traffic and have several threats in high-speed environments. It shows that the NIDPS performance can be weak in the face of high-speed and high-load malicious traffic in terms of packet drops, outstanding packets without analysis, and failing to detect/prevent unwanted traffic.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a latest platform for our technology. Using IOT, we can control our daily routine work such as home application, control, and easy communication systems, improve our digital services. The Internet of Things (IoT) is adding daily contents information wisely to the internet to make communication between objects and people and among themselves. In this paper, we show improved home automation with the help of IoT. In our proposed system, we use the relay, Node MCU which is a network access component. We can control that equipment by using the approach of IOT based system. The home automation system uses the portable device such as mobiles, laptops, tablets as a user interface. They can connect with home automation network through an internet approach like Wi-Fi. The user will move straightly with the system via control interface whereas home apparatus is remotely controlled through mobile application. The home automation system has an additional property that increases the protection capability of home automation system remotely. This modified design system proposed an efficient control of home automation system.

Artificial Intelligence is an area of computer science that deals with giving machines the ability to seem like they have human intelligence. In simple language, we can say that "The power of a machine to copy intelligent human behavior." The BOT (short for "ROBOT")is an automated program that run over internet. However, there are several bots which are actually working for automatic response to a messages. In these paper, we have investigated an artificial intelligence bot which in capable of Facebook Page and Group Auto – Posting automatically and securely, which will ensure that the same post or the same messages should not be posted repeatedly.

This paper shows the control and the study of the DC motor by using IoT. The DC drive systems are oftenly used in various industrial applications such as, actuation, manipulators and robotics. The Internet of Things (IoT) refers for the rapid growing network of physical objects that feature an Internet protocol (IP) addresses in which the internet connectivity and the communication that occurs between these other internets enabled devices, objects and systems. The DC Motor has been widely used in industries because of its properties such as improved efficiency, accuracy and economic benefit in addition to reduce human intervention. IOT allows objects to be sensed or control remotely across existing network infrastructure, creating opportunities for more direct integration of the physical world into computer based system.

Title :: Ac/Ac Converter for Single Phase Induction Motor with Dc- Modulation
Country :: India
Authors :: Pradnya S. Korde || Prof. Rajendra Bhombe
Page No. :: 30-37

This paper explain the design and calculation of AC/AC convertor for single phase induction motor (split phase motor) drive with DC - modulation. In conventional AC/AC converter, the output frequency and total harmonic distortion (THD) are their limitation factors. In order to overcome the above limitations, the AC/AC converters which is based on DC modulation gives improved power factor (p.f.) and the higher power transmission efficiency and hence can be used for single phase induction motor.. Simulation results verify the design of DC-modulated single stage buck type AC/AC converter for single phase induction motor.

Keywords-DC-modulation, Power factor correction, total harmonic distortion (THD), single phase induction motor.

Title :: Analysis of Muffler for noise reduction and emission control by using Ammonia pulsator
Country :: India
Authors :: Bharat B Babre || Kamlesh M Thakare
Page No. :: 42-47

An Absorbtive silencer is mainly dealing with control of emission and noise in automobile exhaust. By using activated charcoal, perforated tube and outer shell it is constructed. An Absorbtive silencer is fitted to the exhaust pipe of engine. The activated charcoal filters the harmful sulphur and nitrous content produced from the engine. Sound produced under water is less hearable than it produced in atmosphere. This mainly because of small sprockets in water molecules, which lowers its amplitude thus, lowers the sound level. Because of this property water is used in this silencer and hence its name AQUA SILENCER. It is tested in single cylinder 4- stroke diesel engine the noise and smoke level is considerable less than the conventional silencer.

Authors :: W. S. Sheikh || B. B. Babre
Page No. :: 48-50

New product design always needs to be analysed for function and non- functional aspects of design. A Previously designed Smart Hand Cart is proposed to be analysed for kinetic, kinematic and ergonomic aspects of design. The functional aspects will be validate using Finite Element analysis. This Analysis would be carried out for dead loads, paddle forces and braking forces. Further the same will also proposed to be studied for the ergonomic aspects for ease of use. This work proposes to check the functional aspects of design of its various subsystems using finite element method and also proposes to throw some light on the man machine interaction for the ease of handling and use. Further the analysis may lead to certain modifications in the existing design which will be subsequently carried out, if required.

1) To provide the optimum design for Paddling Mechanism and Position of Seat
2) Create Smart Hand Cart Cad model by using "Catia V5" software.
3) Export this model in ".igs" (Initial Graphics Exchange Specification) format to ANSYS.
4) With the help of ANSYS analysis of Static stresses.
5) Comparing this result with analytically.

Phosphor Li2BaSiO4: Eu2+ and Li2BaSiO4 :Ce are prepared through solid state reaction method at 700 C for 12 to 14 hrs. The photoluminescence of given phosphors are studied. PL emission of Li2BaSiO4: Eu2+ is observed in bluish green region. Emission is due to Eu2+ transition between the ground state 8S7/2(4f7) and the excited states of 4f65d1configuration. Weak long after glow emission is also observed. In Li2BaSiO4:Ce, emission peak is observed at 392 nm at excitation of 330 nm
