In an industry a considerable portion of investment is being made for machinery installation. Industries are basically meant for Production of useful goods and services at low production cost, machinery cost and low inventory cost. So in this paper we have a proposed a machine which can perform operations like grinding, cutting, filing and super finishing at different working centres simultaneously which implies that industrialist need not to pay for machine performing above tasks individually. This paper presents the concept of multi-functional material removal machine mainly carried out for production based industries. We have developed a conceptual model of a machine which would be capable of performing different operations simultaneously and is also economically efficient..............

Mild steel sheets along with zinc coating have gain popularity in diversified applications due to its availability and cost effectiveness. However, storage of this sheet is subjected to formation of white rust (zinc oxide) which reduces its storage life and consequently its durability hampered. The formation of zinc oxide can be reduced by taking care at production stage by increasing the time required for the passivation process. Hence, in current work effort has been made to develop the effective and efficient passivation unit for galvanizing of the mild steel sheet. Various parameters associated with passivation have been optimized such as number runner, nozzle diameter, number of nozzle and nozzle height...............

The foldable Platform lift is similar to a lightweight lifting rectangular platform that allows human
to sit, stand or get their wheelchair on it anywhere on it in any suitable position. The traditional type of
wheelchair is difficult to move through the inclined stairs due to its large size and rigid structure and thus, they
are inappropriate for letting patients with inability to climb stairs using a wheelchair or any other source.
Platform Stairlift has a total weight of 25 kg as it utilizes lightweight aluminum alloy members. Unlike the
traditional wheelchair, it consists of a rectangular platform which enables patients with a wheelchair to use that
platform to move through stairs and thus able to let patients with walking disability to move across stairs
without many efforts.

Pressure vessels are used for storing inflammable fluids like petrol, diesel, propylene, LPG, ammonia, propane, butane, etc. In Pressure Vessels, Nozzles are required for inlet and outlet purposes. These nozzles create discontinuities on the geometry which results in stress concentration around these nozzles. The junction might fail because of these high stresses; therefore, anelaborate analysis is required. It is quite difficult to perform stress calculations using theoretical formulae of such complex geometries, hence finite element method is used to perform and simulate static structural analysis of the pressure vessel............

The fundamental necessities for little scale trimming machines are, they ought to be appropriate for little ranches, basic in plan and innovation. In the cultivating procedure, frequently utilized regular seeding activity takes additional time and more works. The seed encourage rate is all the more however the time required for the aggregate task is progressively and the aggregate cost is expanded because of work, employing of gear is walking towards the fast development of all divisions including the agrarian part. To meet the future sustenance requests, the new strategies are utilized they won't influence the dirt surface yet will build the general harvest creation...............

Steels having favorable properties are used in many industrial applications because of their low cost and ease of fabrication. The mechanical properties desired can be achieved by either alloying suitable elements or by various heat treatment processes. Heat treatment process is a combination of heating and cooling operations applied to metals and alloys to obtain desired properties. Hardening is a heat treatment process carried to increase hardness of steel by heating it above critical point and then allowing it to cool down by immersing in a quenching medium such as water or oil. By quenching in appropriate medium the mechanical properties of steel can be improved.............

3D scanning is one of most widely used process for duplication of complicated articles. The data collected by 3D scanners can be used to build a digital 3D representation of the article under consideration. Other common applications include production of movies and video games in entertainment industries, studying of formation of plant phenotypes [1]. This type of scanning can be done through various techniques. Numerous techniques have been developed over time for different purposes in the industry. This review paper gives a detailed overview of such techniques which are prominently used. Each technique has its own limitations and advantages. Hence, a comparison between different methods for 3D scanning is done in this paper. Based on this comparison the implementation of right method in the industries will yield the most accurate replica of the target object while salvaging the expenditures.

Welding of dissimilar materials is an emerging area as it finds different applications in the fields of manufacturing sector. In recent days, dual-phase steels are getting attention of the researchers and manufacturers worldwide as it possesses high strength, high ductility and excellent formability. These steels are having unique microstructure which consists of ferrite and martensite. In this study focuses on characterization of the process parameters in Resistance Spot Welding of AHSS type Dual phase 600 steel with austenitic stainless steel-AISI 304L. To understand the effects of input process parameter and its relation with weld load carrying capacity and micro hardness of weld area, Design of experiment (DOE)methodology was used. From the results of the design of experiments, set of suitable welding parameters were obtained. The effect of different input parameters like welding current, electrode pressure, welding cycles on the weld nugget size are also analyzed.

Nowadays industries are playing a vital role in the national economy. So it is very important for an industry to maintain the quality of the product they produce. So the goal of this paper is to propose an automatic system to assert the dimensional (length) accuracy of a product and the rejection of the defective products. An IR sensor is used to detect the presence of the object. When a product is arrived then the motor starts running and so as the conveyor belt also starts running. Infrared Sensor detects the dimensions of the product. If the product has correct dimensions it will be further transferred to the acceptor bin, and if not then the product is rejected by pneumatic actuator into the rejecter bin.
