Structural design of RCC framed structure is totally based on results of structural analysis. Structural Analysis is of various type and different approaches are available for one type of structural analysis. In this paper, I want to know the variation in the analysis results when I do the analysis by two different approaches. In first approach I divide my structure in substitute frame (as per clause 22.4 of I.S. 456:2000) and analyze by moment distribution method, while in second approach I analyze whole structure by using Finite Element Method.

To reduce equipment failures and downtime, we applied Fuzzy analysis that helped to skew the highly ranked critical failures subsystems to the following: Engine Cooling System(Eng59), Crankcase system subsystem (Crk29), lubricating system subsystem (lub32), flywheel subsystem (fly38), and the Governor control subsystem(Gov73) that need to be given the highest priorities in terms of preventive maintenance, spare parts replacement, components upgrading. Moreso those identified parts that have exhausted their useful life should be replaced with brand new spare parts and in addition to training and retraining equipment operators, maintenance engineers, technicians, and craftsmen to mention a few should be given the highest priorities. The other subsystems with lower ranks should be given attention to all the identified likely symptoms that deterred optimal performance of 365KVA Caterpillar generator

The mortar is the homogeneous mixture of a cementing agent, fine aggregate and water. To acquire the denomination of recycled mortar, it is necessary that a fraction or all of aggregate present in it comes from the trituration of construction or demolition waste materials.In the present work, the fluidity of mortars was evaluated after mixing, they were made with 100% recycled aggregate, in addition to the individual addition of carbon fiber in volumetric percentage from 0.1% to 1.5%, samples were also added of 100% graphite powder and 0.1%-1.5% carbon fiber whit water-cement ratios of 0.55 and 0.70 respectively.Resulting in a decrease in fluidity as the percentage of carbon fiber increases, the use of Carboxymethylcellulose, facilitated the dispersion of the fiber in the mortar mixtures.Recycled mortar mixes with graphite powder need a higher water-cement ratio to have a plastic consistency, compared to mixes with only the addition of carbon fiber.

Due to climate change brought on by global warming, which causes flooding and other ecological problems, the demand for sustainable and environmentally friendly buildings must receive urgent attention in the housing and construction sector. When looking for alternatives to traditional building materials, adequate and thorough information about the characteristics of natural materials is helpful. For instance, the moisture properties and compressive strength of walling material are important for environmentally friendly and long-lasting structures. The goal of this study was to gauge the rate of moisture absorption on hydraform earth brick materials in to estimate their compressive strength when completely saturated with moisture. Hydraform earth bricks were fabricated from a composition of 40% soil, 52% coarse sand, and 9% Ordinary Portland Cement (OPL) in a mechanically operated moulding machine.
