Static Var Compensator (SVC) is a shunt type FACTS which is used in power system primarily for the purpose of voltage and reactive power control in the power system network. In this paper, a fuzzy logic based supplementary controller for Static Var Compensator (SVC) is developed which is used for improve the power quality in generation, transmission and distribution side of power system network. In the generation part of power system fuzzy logic based svc controller is used to damping the rotor angle oscillations and to improve the transient stability of the power system. At the distribution side to minimize the harmonics injected into the distribution systems by the operation of TSC-TCR type SVC used in conjunction with fast changing loads at LV distribution level. Fuzzy logic system and ANN are going to be used solve this nonlinear problem, giving optimum triggering delay angles used to trigger switches in TCR. Fuzzy rules are easily derived from the measurable global signals like line active power flow, and generator speed deviation. The performance of various controllers is then compared based on non linear simulation results. Among these the performance of the proposed controller is found to be better and damp out the system oscillations at faster rate. SVC controller works accurately. Digital computer simulations were performed using MATLAB/ SIMULINK software.

Rapid depletion of conventional energy sources, along with increasing demand for energy is a matter of serious concern for the mankind. The factor that petroleum based fuels will neither be available in sufficient quantities nor at a reasonable price in future, has revived interest in exploring the use of alternative fuels. It is essential that these alternative fuels for engine should be drive from indigenous sources and preferable renewable energy sources. In this work, experiments are conducted by governing pilot fuel and speed for defined loads. in the present work, the engine performance characteristics are computed using CNG as the main fuel and diesel as the pilot fuel of dual fuel mode. From the experimental investigations, it is concluded that the engine performance of the dual fuel operation is better than the diesel fuel operation.

Biomechanics is a field that combines the disciplines of biology and engineering mechanics and utilizes the tools of physics, mathematics, and engineering to quantitatively describe the properties of biological materials. Finite element modeling has been widely used to describe the mechanical behavior of the long bones which have been created from CT (Computer Tomography) images In this study a three dimensional model of the human femur bone has been developed and the data associated with the hip contact forces for normal walking and standing up during one cycle has been employed on the femur bone in order to investigate behavior of the femur bone during these activities. The finite element results (stresses) are obtained and compared with previous studies . The behavior of the stresses that obtained in the present study is similar to those found in the literature . The results of the analysis are helpful for the orthopedic surgeon to understand the biomechanical behavior of the femur bone and also important for surgeon in femur surgeries and bone prosthesis.

Wireless adhoc network support rapid on demand and adaptive communication among the nodes due to their self configurable and autonomous nature and lack of fixed infrastructure. Since adhoc network rely on the collaboration principle the issue of key distribution and effective group by management in such networks represents two of the most important problem. This paper explore in depth the requirements of this set of applications scenarios and purposes from machine learning based on demand routing paradign. Its primary benefits are flexibility to optimize routing over a variety of property such as route length easy recovery after node failure and native support for sink mobility . As efficient approach to its consider routing algorithm in which network connectivity is determined in the process of establishing routes. The shortest path from source to designation in a static network is optimal route this idea is not easily extended to Manet.Factors such as power expended, variable wireless link quality, propagation, Pathless, fading, multiuser interference and topological changes become relevant use. Performance is an interesting issue for different protocols. Routing In adhoc networks is challenging due to mobility of nodes. Dynamic adhoc on demand routing protocols is one in which is intended for the use by mobile nodes in wireless adhoc multihop adhoc network. It can adopt changing network topology and determine unicast routes between nodes within the network. Mobile Adhoc network has evolved fast in the last 10 year into standard in the communication world. Manet is self configuring network of mobile node connected by wireless links to form an arbitrary topology without the use of existing infrastructure. In this paper we deal with new implementation of routing protocol dynamic manet on demand, It offer adaptation to charge the network topology and determine unicast router between nodes within the network on demand. Our goal is to carry out a systematic performance study of on demand dynamic routing protocols (DYMO) which initiate routing activities on demand basis. High routing load .Performance analyzed using network simulator qualnet 5.0. It mobility network size and load is analyzed. We make recommendation about how the performance how to improved.

Most of the energies are utilized by the industries due to depletion of fossile fuels and increasing the fuel price to exploit the maximum presented energy from the waste heat source. The sugar industry steam turbine exhausts carry a considerable amount of thermal energy. This energy can be set in to positive use as a heat source for vapour absorption system to serves as cooling system. This paper illustrates the thermal and fiscal advantages of using single effect lithium bromide water absorption by means of waste heat. The objective of this work is to hypothetical design of lithium bromide water absorption Refrigeration system using waste heat from sugar industry steam turbine exhaust. The various parts of the vapour absorption system are absorber, solution heat exchanger, evaporator, condenser and generator. The hypothetical design based on the cooling effect required for DC thyrist motor in a sugar industry. Energy consumption and energy savings in terms of energy and fuels are calculated. The Overall heat transfer coefficient, effectiveness and COP of the heat exchanger are measured.

In the paper the development of a test bench which can be used to test the behavior of bike rotor during a braking cycle under dry conditions is described. For the dimensioning of test bench ,calculation of theoretical possible brake torque assessment of Disc , heat transfer from a rotating disc, plays an important role. The Development of Brake rotor which can be used to check the hot spots under dry conditions is described. For the test, calculations of theoretical possible Disc torques, measurement of temperature using non-contact temperature measuring device have been done. A special focus is laid on hot spots and temperature distribution in serial tests. The test protocol is checked using graphs .The system gives information that internally ventilated cross-drilled Disc has good structural stability and temperature distribution.

Biodegradability , are known as biological degradation degree of biodegradable organic pollutants by microorganisms. Organic biodegradability can be divided into aerobic biodegradability and anaerobic biodegradability. At present, evaluation methods for biological degradation degree include aerobic biodegradability method of relative oxygen consumption or rate method, integrated test evaluation method and water quality index evaluation; evaluation anaerobic biodegradability include CH4 gas production method, CO2 gas production method, gas production method and COD synthesis method. In this paper the aerobic biodegradability and anaerobic biodegradability evaluation method are commended, and appraise biodegradability methods for next research.

TiO2 photocatalyst coating is a kind of environmental friendly coatings. It has been widely applied to many fields, such as water treatment, cosmetics, ceramic, plastic, architecture etc.. The major mechanism of titanium dioxide photocatalyst coating is that photocatalyst absorbs light and then occurs a series of photocatalytic reactions. In this article, the synthesis method and application of photocatalytic coating were introduced, in order to provide references for other scholars. Concluding bactericidal (mildew-proof) coating, NOx degradation coating, formaldehyde and benzene degradation coating, self-cleaning coating and so on.
