The study aimed to develop a computer program that monitored the library users by means of capturing their attendance through radio frequency identification (RFID). A Radio Frequency (RF) reader, RF tag, web camera and computer were utilized to develop and perform the system's operation. The researcher used developmental method to fulfill its objectives. The system was able to capture the attendance of the library users with the aid of their identification card. The system is acceptable based on the test and evaluation made by the students during system implementation in the library. Several recommendations in connection with the tapping of identification card, the full utilization of capturing device, database update, client-server application, interface design and display of unreturned books.

This research work focuses on the analysis of survival times of prostate cancer patients. The data used are from clinical studies on prostate cancer in-patients of the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital. The aim of the project is to obtain and compare the survival function, median survival time, hazard rates and to fit the semi-parametric model to the survival times. The Kaplan-Meier Product Limit method was used to obtain the estimates of the median survival time and the survival function, while the test of equality of survival curves was carried out using the log-rank test. The result from the analysis shows that the surgery and chemotherapy treatment group have median survival times of 19 and 40days respectively with corresponding hazard rates of 0.019 and 0.016 death per day. Result also shows that the difference in survivals for patients that underwent surgery and chemotherapy is not significant with p-value of 0.74, while the Cox's regression model reports the hazards ratio (HR) of 0.84 indicating that the risk of death in the chemotherapy group is less than that of surgery group.

This study aimed to design, develop, deploy and evaluate an electronic class record. Electronic worksheet software is used to develop the electronic class record and several arithmetic operators and functions like VLOOKUP, IF, AVERAGE, COUNTIF. A worksheet template was developed to accept name of teacher, course title, section, schedule, room, student number, student name, grade level, gender, date of each classes, base grade, test items attendance and performance of the students. The electronic class record automatically computes the grades of the students following the prescribed grading system of Makiling National High School. Developmental process and prototyping method were utilized to develop the electronic class record. Testing, deployment and evaluation have been initiated to observe its acceptability. The electronic class record will be used effective School Year 2014-2015.

This describes the wireless relay network where multiple user pairs conduct bidirectional communications via multiple relays based on orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) transmission. The joint optimization subcarrier pairing is implemented for the subcarrier allocation and relay selection. A graph based approach, is used to solve the problem optimally in polynomial time by transforming it into a maximum weighted bipartite matching (MWBM) problem. Total throughput against transmit power per node and the number of relay nodes is evaluated through which the performance of the system is analyzed for different number of subcarriers.

Data mining is used for to process the information and obtained the knowledge or interesting patterns from the large amount of data. Data mining is a ground breaking way to leverage the information. The information that data mining provides can lead to an immense improvement in the quality and dependability of business decision making. The objective of this work is that to improve the security of the data. Everyday customers or client's information is updated, this information is very important data for the clients or the customers, they never want to disclose with anyone. So, security of information/data is required, needs to maintain it and also needs to reduce the complexity of data, and to make the sensitive data more reliable

A wireless sensor network consist sensor nodes of large number can be used as an effective tool for gathering data in various situations. One of the major issues in WSN is the development of a routing protocol which is energy-efficient and has a significant impact on the overall lifetime of the sensor network [1]. The vital issue in designing the wireless sensor networks is Energy saving .The main significant issue is the battery power which is limited inherent within sensor nodes of networks. Therefore in order to enhance the life time of the network. it is necessary to design effective and energy aware protocols. In this paper, a review on structure of network routing based protocol is a main type which consist hierarchical based routing protocol as subtype in WSNs is carried out.

This Paper describes an approach of mobile agent based load balancing with highly heterogeneity and geographical distribution on web server system. Basically mobile agent integrated with various policies. The MPI is one of the primordial policies that is designed for model standard MPI library using java and compare with the mobile agent based approach load balancing. This also describes the performance evaluation of MALD and message passing based approach with different server execution.

In this paper, Sudan climate and geographic features have been covered. Then a soil survey for Sudan soil types has been carried out. The locations of soil samples have been chosen in accordance with the Climatic Zones Classifications for Sudan. Two basic tests conducted comprising: Grain Size Distribution and Atterberg Limits on each sample. And accordingly the soil classification has been determined for each sample. The soil type of each climate zone has been determined.
