Complex arithmetic operations are widely used in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) applications. This paper presents an efficient design of modified booth multiplier and then also implements it. Low-cost finite impulse response (FIR) designs are presented using the concept of faithfully rounded truncated multipliers. In this work, focus on optimizing the design of the fused Add-Multiply (FAM) operator for increasing performance. In this project introduce a structured and efficient recoding technique and explore three different schemes by incorporating them in FAM designs. Comparing them with the FAM designs which use existing recoding schemes, the proposed technique yields considerable reductions in terms of critical delay, hardware complexity and power consumption of the FAM unit.

Cadmium sulphide (CdS) thin films have been deposited by using Chemical Bath Deposition (CBD) Technique. Initially bath parameters such as deposition temperature, pH of the precursor, deposition time, molarities of the precursors were optimized for deposition of CdS thin films. The prepared CdS thin films were annealed at different temperatures (100, 200, 300, 400 0C). As deposited and annealed CdS thin films were characterized by Uv-Visible spectrophotometer. The effect of annealing temperature on interaction of light with deposited material was investigated.

Studies and research of photovoltaic power plants in real world conditions with a goal to find more effective control algorithms require significant investment in equipment and takes a lot of time. To accelerate the research, mathematical models are designed, which allow to simulate processes in photovoltaic power plant under conditions close to the real ones. To investigate the effects of temperature variations, the block of temperature is designed, which allows imitating the processes lasting for month or even several years. This block is used in a model of photovoltaic power plant, developed in earlier studies. The model described in this paper consists of four structural blocks: a block, imitating the solar energy flux; the block, for simulation of temperature variations; the block, imitating photovoltaic module and the control algorithm, in which the maximum power point tracking is performed using IncCond algorithm. The model of photovoltaic power plant is implemented in Matlab/Simulink environment. The model is used to investigate the effects of photovoltaic module temperature on performance of the power plant during a cloudy day. It is proved, that due to overheated photovoltaic modules the efficiency of power plant is decreased. It is proved, that it is possible to increase the efficiency of photovoltaic power plant from 11 % to 31 % applying forced cooling to all of the photovoltaic modules.

An accurate method for determining the winding inductances of a 2-phase Stator winding is herein presented. A 2-phase stator winding is considered. The process begins with understanding the winding configuration, obtaining the winding function from that, and considering the air-gap function. Comparison is made for the inductances of the same stator windings considering saliency and non-saliency. It is observed that in the case of salient pole rotors, the inductances of the stator winding depends on the rotor position. On the other hand, the inductances of the stator winding in the case of non-saliency is constant. Non-linear effects on the magnetizing inductances were not considered.

Schemas are often used to constrain the content and structure of XML documents. That is by using previous one we can't navigate an XML document in an easy way and quickly. We propose a query language, named XSPath, specifically tailored for XML schema that works on logical graph-based representations of schemas, on which it enables the navigation, and allows the selection of nodes. However, XML Schemas are themselves XML documents. Thus, the structure of a schema can be navigated and its components can be retrieved through a path language. XSPath is a language tailored for specifying path expressions on XML Schemas.

Cellular manufacturing is a production strategy which is capable of solving certain problems in a batch manufacturing system. A batch manufacturing system produces some intermediate varieties of products with intermediate volumes. The volume of any single product may not be sufficient to justify the use of a dedicated set of equipments for its production. Under this condition, a few or several products will have to share the production resources to balance their utilization .Production equipment in batch manufacturing must be capable of performing a variety of tasks. One of the fundamental problems in cellular manufacturing system is the formation of part families and machine cells that is the cell formation. For cell formation the part families are identified that require similar processing on a set of machines. In turn, these machines are grouped into cells. Each cell is capable of satisfying all the requirements of the part family assigned to it. In this paper an approach is used to form the part families and machine cell in a batch oriented production system. This approach combines a local search heuristic with a genetic algorithm. The genetic algorithm is used to generate the sets of machine cells. The evolutionary process, embedded in the genetic algorithm, is responsible for improving the grouping quality of the sets of machine cell generated. When the machine cells are known, it is customary to assign a product to the cell where it visits the maximum number of machines. This is optimal to minimize inter cell movement. However, it does not guarantee good utilization of the machines within a cell. To overcome this problem, a local search heuristic, which takes into consideration both inter -cell movement and machine utilization, is applied. The heuristic consists of an improvement procedure that is repeatedly applied. The objective of the heuristic is to construct a set of machine/part groups and improve it, if possible. The heuristic feeds back to the genetic algorithm the grouping efficacy of the set of machine/part groups it constructs. It is continued until the optimum result is found. After applying this approach, the result with a grouping efficacy is higher than the existing initial machine part matrix. So this approach can useful in cell formation in any batch oriented production system.

The aim of this paper is to study the effect of chemical solutions absorption on some mechanical and thermal properties for polymeric/ceramic composite [ Epoxy resin reinforced by nano aluminium oxide powder (Al2O3 20 nm/Gamma )with volume fractions of 1% and 3% .Specimens were prepared using Hand lay-up moulding . Physical tests for different times were applied to the specimens including [ Bending test ,surface Hardness , and Thermal conductivity ] . All tests have been accomplished in normal conditions (without immersion) and with immersion using diluted Hcl and NaOH solutions ( 0.2 N ) for 9 weeks period . In normal conditions, Results showed increasing in the values of flexural strength ,Young's modulus , surface Hardness , and thermal conductivity . After immersion the specimens in chemical solutions it was observed that the value of flexural strength , young's modulus ,surface Hardness were decreased . on the other hand , the immersion in chemical solutions leads to increase in thermal conductivity coefficient K.It is worthily to mention that the effect of the acidic solution was greater than the basic solution .
