The forestry sector, a relevant segment in the Brazilian economy and in the State of Espírito Santo, highlighting the genus Eucalyptus. Forest harvesting is a final and most important operation in the production chain, covering everything from felling to extraction of trees. The harvesting system is evaluated in whole tree (whole trees) or cut to length (short logs, the most used in Brazil), carried out through the use of the harvester, which is one of the most modern forest tractors, whose productivity is influenced by several variables. For variable-based modeling, they have been used as Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs), which precede a meta-heuristic based on the structure and functioning of the brain, which trains one and solves specific specifications. The oil palm tree waste has had its use for broom making and temporary roofing (thatch houses). The aspects of its waste in context are the palm fronds and the Empty fruit bunch (EFB). The EFB which houses the oilseed has no documented use despite its high cellulosic content which is a major requirement in papermaking. Therefore, this work aimed to evaluate the suitability of using EPB for paper pulping. In this experiment, EPB was shredded and pulped to remove the lignin. The delignified pulp was loosened for fibre separation and subsequently dispersed in a water-containing corn starch solution before sheet formation. The sheeted paper obtained was evaluated for, grammage, abrasion, tensile strength, and tear strength. Results obtained reveal 80% abrasion resistance, 180g/m grammage while tensile strength and tear strengths were 0.638kg/cm and 34.578 respectively. These are pointers to its suitability for packaging papers such as cartons and cardboard.

The digital world offers a lot of data in this era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Intelligently analysing these data and implementing suitable smart and automated applications at scale. Machine learning refers to a set of algorithms, scientific investigations, and statistical models that allow computers to accomplish tasks without having to be explicitly programmed. Many of the applications we use on a daily basis involve learning algorithms. The main advantages of using machine learning are; once an algorithm learns what to do with data, it can do its work automatically. In this study, the free vibration analysis of simply supported rectangular Kirchhoff plates of various aspect ratios was carried out using the Ritz and Galerkin methods in the purpose of comparing the two methods. The same systematically constructed comparison functions were used in both methods, and the procedures were implemented with the help of purposefully developed computer programmes. The numbers of terms in the shape functions used were 1, 4, 9, 16, 25 and 36, and the first six frequency parameters were retained due to the deteriorating accuracy from the lower to the upper ends of the eigenvalue spectrum. Both methods gave identical results which also were in excellent agreement with the exact solutions.......

Background: Brazil is one of the largest coffee producers and exporters in the world and has been facing difficulties due to the control of pests affecting the crop. The objective of this work was to compare the hydropneumatic and pneumatic sprayers, in order to determine their greater effectiveness and efficiency. The RADAR uses multiple technique to achieve more precision and more best processing. The first technic use on RADAR is Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) RADAR for switching fast direction of arrival of target's searching. New technic appears to having more flexibility of signal sent to the target using the Compressive Sensing (CS). The signal to transmitted will be acquired and compress simultaneously using sparse signal multiply by matrix sensing and signal should respect the Restricted Isometry Property (RIP). At the receiver, algorithm of reconstruction of signal compressed should be done. This article shows how to process MIMO radar with Compressing Sensing and how to reconstruct them. For thus, three algorithms are used: Compressive Sampling Matching Pursuit (CoSAMP), Look Ahead Orthogonal Matching Pursuit (LAOMP) and Orthogonal Matching Pursuit (OMP) on monostatic and bistatic RADAR. For having good performance, the number of antennas should be more than 16x16. The algorithm of CoSAMP is not usable for bistastic RADAR because it offers correlation between signal sent and signal recovered less than 50% but it's not a complex implementation indeed on monostatic RADAR. The two variants LAOMP and OMP offers correlation more than 80% until 99% on bistatic and monostatic RADAR but have more complex implementation.

Carbon Nanotubes (CNTs) are providing a wonderful area of scientific research these days due to their unique properties, like high tensile strength,stiffness, elasticity and biodegradability.There are various methods for CNT synthesis like chemical vapour deposition, laser ablation, electrochemical synthesis, arc discharge etc. Here we have reported a very simple and cost effective synthesis of CNTs which involves arc discharge in distilled water in contrary to standard used discharge in inert gas atmosphere.By using a homemade setup and distil water as inert reaction environment, the cost of synthesis became very less. Then, we purified the CNTs and characterized them by Fourier Transform InfraRed (FTIR) spectroscopy, Raman Spectroscopy and X-ray Diffraction techniques.A new Raman band at 1870cm-1in Raman spectra has appeared. FTIR spectra confirmed the oxidation of surface carbon atoms of CNTs. Finally, we evaluated the antibacterial activity of CNTs on Escherichia coli DH5α strain using Disk Diffusion method.
