Rock fracture is a complicated none quilibrium and nonlinear evolution process. There are important theoretical significance and engineering value for the research on fracture process of rock and soil engineering materials, to reveal the material failure process of nonlinear macroscopic mechanical behavior, evaluation of rock and rock engineering safe state to understand the stability of rock and soil engineering structure and take reasonable nursing measures. And the cracks can reflect directly the failure process of rock in the quantitative research on fracture. We usually need to choose a rupture criterion to determine rock modes under the action of force, such as the crack formation time and the direction of crack. Structural fracture often not appears as the single patterns. there is a crack, a conjugate shear fractures, and mix the two shear fracture.........

The recent years have seen the increasing practical interest in functionally graded materials (FGM), e.g. ceramic-metal composites, such as Al2O3-Ni. In the present study these composites were fabricated by the centrifugal slip casting method. The principal aim was to evaluate the influence of the centrifugal rotational speed on the microstructure and properties of the alumina-nickel composites. The slurries with the 55 vol.% solid content were consolidated using two rotational speeds (800 rpm and 1800 rpm)...................

The study of the volumetric behavior of antituberculosis Ethambutaol HCl as electrolytes in solution provides information useful to elucidate ion–ion, ion–solvent, and solvent–solvent interactions. Apparent molar volumes (Φv) and viscosity B-coefficients for Ethambutaol HCl in aqueous system have been determined from density (ρ) and viscosity (η) measurements at 298.15 to 313.15 K using the ANTON PAAR densitometer and Mansing Survismeter respectively. Various concentrations of Ethambutaol HCl solutions ranging from 0.02 to 0.1 M were prepared. The apparent molar volumes were calculated from the density data..................

Density, Viscosity and Refractive Index of drug molecule Metformin HCl (MFH) in aqueous solution at different concentrations have been determined. The density, viscosity and refractive index data have been analyzed for the evaluation of apparent molar volume, molar excess volume, excess viscosity, specific refraction and molar refraction. It can be inferred from these studies that this drug acts as a structure-making compound due to hydrophobic hydration of drug molecules. B-coefficients values are found to be positive thereby showing solute-solvent interactions. Furthermore these results are correlated to understand the solution behavior of drug.

Web services clustering is a process of dividing data objects into several classes or clusters to make the similarity between different clusters minimal and the similarity between objects within one cluster maximal. Clustering is considered the most important non-supervised learning technique that can organize the web services in such a way that the similar web services in a cluster provide similar matches with user's request. With the rapid growth of available web services developed by different organizations, clustering of web services is required for conveniently managing web services selection, discovery, and composition and QoS prediction..............

MANET (Mobile Ad hoc Network) is an autonomous, robust and scalable system of mobile nodes that can communicate via wireless links with no rigid infrastructure. Owing to the independent and dynamic nature of mobile nodes, the topology of MANET changes frequently and is prone to various kinds of attacks. To eradicate the security threats, an efficient certificate revocation scheme has been adopted to attain a secure communication. Conventional schemes in MANETs aim to achieve greater security by electing a Cluster Head (CH) for each and every cluster which governs the entire network..............

The effects of swirling, flow divergence and porous media, of triple coaxial ports inverse diffusion flame (TCP-IDF) on the flame shape, temperature, and gas emissions arestudied.A comparison between non swirlingTCP-IDF burner and a swirling TCP-IDF burner, using a5o air swirleris conducted. On the other hand 2mm and 1 mmPorous screensand65o, 45o and 15o flow divergence diffuser are investigated. The effect of these parametric on the flame radial and centerline temperatures, CO, NOxand unburned hydrocarbons have been performed. In all experiments the air to fuel ratio was the same., the study showed the highest temperature on average have been recorded in the subsequent order, the 15o diffuse, then the 45o diffuser, the swirling TCP-IDF, the non-swirlingTCP-IDF, the 1mm wide mesh porous screen..............

An artificial neural network based text retrieval system which extract characters from an image file into an editable form, has been implemented using a free and open source computing software i.e Scilab. The proposed system is optimized using various topologies of neural networks. An unsupervised learning algorithm SOM and K means clustering is used to train the network. When comparing with existing neural network based systems our research shows that the proposed system has achieved a significant accuracy of 99-100% which is much higher, with an added advantage of economical availability of the software
