Title :: A Novel Scheme for Multimedia Content Protection by Biometric Encryption Watermarking Method
Country :: India
Authors :: Shameem kappan || Dr. Muhamed Ilyas. P || Dr. R. Vijayakumar
Page No. :: 01-04

Multimedia content protection has become one of the most important and interesting research area. We present a multimedia content protection by utilizing both biometric and digital watermarking. The finger print, face and signature biometric feature of the owner is used to generate the watermark. We include these three different water mark on the host image by partitioning row wise or column wise and then embedding the watermark on it. Our scheme includes 2-D Single Level Discrete Hear Wavelet transform for image compression and Single value decomposition for embedding and extraction of the watermarks. Sometime any ownership dispute on the host image, the watermark i.e., the fingerprint, face and signature is extracted from the watermarked image and related to the biometrics of person claiming the ownership. If they match, the claiming person is the real owner of the host image.

Authors :: Anit Kumar || Gaurav Verma
Page No. :: 05-10

With the integration of smart sensor technology, wireless communications paves way for better and challenging applications like environment monitoring of difficult terrains, gathering of widely varying oceanographic data, search and rescue missions especially under water.Underwater communication is a trending field of interest and approaches are under development for achieving low power consumption, compact size and better range. Use of optical waves for underwater communication is an effective approach for secured communication at faster data transfer rates. The paper deals with the implementation of a Li-Fi based module for underwater communication. The system is designed and implemented on the principle of transmission through LED array and reception using a solar panel. The experimental observations analyze the distance versus power relationship for the transfer of textual data. The data transfer is found to be applicable for underwater communication.

Authors :: Sonam Jangid
Page No. :: 11-18

Heat exchangers are one of the most important heat transfer apparatus that find its use in industries like oil refining, chemical engineering, electric power generation etc. Plate type of heat exchangers has been commonly and most effectively used in Industries over the years. Plate heat exchangers are used regularly in the heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration industry. There is an urgent need for detailed and systematic research regarding heat transfer and the fluid flow characteristics of these types of exchangers. As an initiative in this respect, a literature search is presented on plate heat exchangers. New correlations for evaporation heat transfer coefficient and friction factor are introduced, which are applicable to various system pressure conditions and plate chevron angles. This review paper presents the work of various researchers on the heat transfer enhancement of plate type heat exchanger.

Page No. :: 19-24

Internet is huge source of data and information and every one depends on it for attaining each type of knowledge. With the existence of large data and variety of information it becomes difficult for end user to extract required information. Therefore there comes the necessity to personalize each user search in order to obtain selected and relevant result. This paper is an extension to current personalized search model being used in search engine for increasing the efficiency of search engine and to provide user with more relevant and desired results. The proposed search model distinguishes each user search by uniquely identifying each user, providing fast and efficient results. It is compared with existing technology in search engine. Experimental test conducted on the user browsing indicate that the proposed scheme efficiently improves the search results with minimal structural changes. The proposed design is more useful where more than one user access single device for searching. The system provides user friendly behavior as searching will now an easy task. The results will be more accurate as well as secure. Therefore the system acts as an improvement in the area of web mining.

In current few years the statistical data expresses that Doubly-fed Induction Generator (DFIG) based wind turbine with variable pitch control and variable speed is mainly regular wind turbine in the growing wind souk. Because of the fluctuating behavior of wind power, a dynamic model of Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) energy source is integrated with wind turbine for abrupt load changes to make sure reliable and competent operation of the power system. This research study deals with simulation of a wind turbine rooted in a doubly-fed induction machine hybrid with fuel cell energy system employed in generating mode to generate or produce electrical energy on a power network. In the middle of, a variety of renewable energy sources, fuel cell is getting more popularity because of their cleanliness, higher efficiency and cost-effective supply of power demanded by the customers.

Artificial Neural networks are a way to solve many types of non-linear problems that are difficult to be solved through traditional techniques. Back propagation algorithm using gradient descent method is the most important approach to train the neural networks. Back propagation algorithm suffers from several disadvantages like local minima problem, slow training, and scaling problem. This paper enlightens the problems of back propagation algorithm and the ways to solve these problems by hybridizing it with Genetic algorithms.

Title :: Thermal convection of MHD Micropolar fluid layer heated from below saturating a porous medium
Country :: India
Authors :: Bhupander Singh
Page No. :: 45-52

A theoretical investigation of thermal convection of an electrically non-conducting, incompressible MHD micropolar fluid layer heated from below in the presence of porous medium has been worked out . Using a linear stability analysis theory and normal mode analysis a dispersion relation is obtained for a flat fluid layer confined between two free boundaries. The influence of various parameters like medium permeability magnetic field, coupling parameter, micropolar heat conduction parameter and micropolar coefficient has been analyzed on the onset of stationary convection and results are depicted graphically. The principle of exchange of stability ( PES ) is found valid.
