Génération of industriel waste water, is one of the burning issue with all of the chemical industries because it is required to discharge directly to the river because of which it is required to do the treatment of waste water and discharge it in given specification by pollution control board. Here in this paper the review of all treatments related to waste water is described in detail which is very important to all of the chemical industries.

Authors :: Rohit Gupta || Rahul Gupta || Dr. Dinesh Verma
Page No. :: 17-21

Quantum mechanics is one of the branches of physics. In this mechanics, physical problems are solved by algebraic and analytic methods. By applying a simple procedure we can find the general solutions of Schrodinger's time - independent wave equation of one dimensional quantum mechanical harmonic oscillator without making any approximation. In this paper, we will discuss the Eigenenergy values and Eigenfunctions of one of the most important physical models of quantum mechanics, namely the one-dimensional Quantum mechanical Harmonic Oscillator by modifying the Hermite differential equation.

In the present work, spinel nickel ferrite (NiFe2O4) nanoparticles were prepared through chemical co-precipitation method taking nitrates as raw materials. The molar ratio of nickel to ferric was kept at 1:2 (0.25 M and 0.5 M respectively) proportion. The pH of the mixed solution was maintained at 7 by adding 2 M NaOH solution. The prepared powder was sintered at 600C for 4 h and same is used for further characterizations. X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy techniques were used to study the structure and morphology. The X-ray diffraction pattern shows the entire diffraction peak belonging to cubic spinel structure. No extra peak other than cubic phase was seen in the XRD pattern..............

Service according to Kotler (2012) is every action or activity that can be offered by one party to another party. The service quality is tightly related to the customer‟s perceptions about the quality of a business. Based on the preliminary survey results could be concluded that from the five aspects observed, that were: the product‟s price, the outlet‟s atmosphere, the product‟s availability, services aspect, and the product‟s display showed that the first highest aspect that the customers considered to be improved was the services aspect (65%). The second aspect was the product‟s availability (60%), and the third was the product‟s price (55%). It could be concluded that the customers considered about the lack of services in the outlets and needed to be improved............

A solar resource assessment done to know the amount of solar radiation available at Indore showed that Indore receives about 5.17kWh/m2/day. The financial analysis carried out using RETScreen through three different tracker axis mode as fixed axis, one axis and dual axis tracker revealed that at a grid connected solar PV dual axis tracker mode has 35% more output power from solar irradiation as compare to fixed axis system.Results of the analysis indicate that, the project when implemented will supply about 35% as compare to fixed axis tracker PV system. The project also stands the chance of saving about 606 tonnes of CO2 which would have been emitted by a crude oil-fired thermal power plant generating the same amount of electricity.

Data mining on medical data has great potential to improve the treatment quality of hospitals and increase the survival rate of patients. Data mining techniques are used for a variety of applications. In healthcare industry, data mining plays an important role in early stage of the diseases prediction .It is very helpful to the patients and hospital if the possibility of disease is identified in early stages based on data collected from patients through various methods (either conducting interview or data from various medical tests) By applying different data mining algorithms. So doctors can easily anticipate the future diseases of patients, can give advice or prescribe medicine. As a result patients get cure in early stage of the disease. The main drawbacks of the previous studies are that need accurate and more number of features. The study proposed a Data mining model has been developed using improvised Principle Component Analysis to improve the early stage Disease prediction.............

Title :: Mathematical Modelling of Stoneley Wave in Rotating Orthotropic Micropolar Elastic Solid Media
Country :: India
Authors :: Rahul Hooda || Shankar Gulia || Sikander
Page No. :: 48-54

The present paper deals with the study of rotation effect on the propagation of Stoneley waves at the interface of two dissimilar orthotropic micropolar solid media in the framework of linear theory including Coriolis and Centrifugal forces. The basic equations are solved to obtain the general surface wave solutions of the medium in x-y plane. The medium is rotating about an axis perpendicular to its plane. Following radiation conditions in the media, the particular solutions are obtained, which satisfied the appropriate boundary conditions at an interface to obtain the secular equations of the Stoneley wave in media. Limiting case of Rayleigh wave is also deduced from the present investigation.

Title :: Model Development of Procurement Performance Measurement on EPC Contractor by Using Bayesian Network Modelling
Country :: Indonesia
Authors :: Bimbi Suharyanti || Suparno
Page No. :: 55-62

In engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) business process, procurement process is a process that greatly influences the success of getting projects and completing projects that have been acquired in addition to the engineering, construction and commissioning processes. To find out whether a procurement organization in EPC contractors has performed its function properly, a method of performance measurement is needed by establishing Key Performance Indicator and by performing performance measurements on predetermined indicators. The method used is Bayesian Network Modelling by selecting experts as respondents for the questionnaire, determining the Key Performance Indicator, collecting data and forming cycles and links between nodes so that the Bayesian Network Modelling construction is formed. The next step is calculating the probability of each node which can then form a performance measurement model, and a suitability test was done by using the chi-square test..............

Authors :: Aye, S. A. || Tuleun, L.T. || Onuh, W. A.
Page No. :: 77-85

This paper presents, the effect of chemical treatment on the mechanical properties of luffa fibre reinforced polyester composites. The luffa fibre was extracted from luffa plant by manual stripping into strands. Treatment was carried out on the fibre at room temperature for 30 minutes with 10 molar solution of NaOH and then sun drying for 72hours. The treated fibre was used to develop the luffa fibre reinforced polyester composites using hand lay-up method in predetermined proportions of 3, 5, 6 and 9% after which it was tested for mechanical properties. Polyester-resin was used as binder. From the results, it was observed that, the tensile strength varied from 7.9 -11.9MPa. The optimum tensile strength of 11.9MPa was obtained at 6% of fibre volume fraction of treated luffa fibre composites.............

Environmental degradation issues are of topical concern to communities in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. Over the years, there has been strong agitation over polluted farm lands in the Niger Delta region by oil companies operating in the area. This is as a result of oil exploration and exploitation in the region. The people in the region can no longer expect good harvest from their farm lands due to oil pollution. This paper is set to investigate the effect of crude oil pollution on soil phosphorus nutrient with time. The soil sample collected from the university research farm was artificially polluted with 0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, and 0.25 liters perkg of soil. The polluted soils were tested using standard methods at 14days interval.The panel Data Regression model (PDRM) was used to analyze the data..............

In contemporary machining industries, the challenge ascends to manufacture good quality of product with effective cost. In slighter way, but no less significant, turning process in CNC lathe machine has begun to see a technology fruition, in which surface roughness (Ra) plays a vital aspect concerning the quality and costing of turning operations. Taguchi method was implemented for integral design, such as selecting three parameters with their three different suitable levels and based on this, Taguchi orthogonal array (L9) was selected. Turning parameters were elected viz. feed rate (F), spindle speed (V) and depth of cut (D). AISI D2 (high carbon high chromium) material was selected due to its ample use in thread rolling, shear blades, dies, burnishing rolls, etc. and is one of the most arduous specimens to be machined. Experimentation was implemented, based on the preferred parameters on CNC lathe machine with insert tool TnMg connected with accelerometer (sensor), data acquisition system............
