Most of the current self-checkout systems rely on barcodes, RFID tags, or QR codes attached to items to distinguish products. This paper proposes an Intelligent Self Checkout System (ISCOS) embedded with a single camera to detect multiple products without any labels in real-time performance. The bounding boxes are annotated by background subtraction with a fixed camera to avoid time-consuming process for each image. The Database for storing the products is used to generate the bill. The contribution of this work is to combine deep learning and data mining approaches to real-time multi-object detection in image-based checkout system.

In the busy metropolitan cities, people don't have time to invest in waiting for transport. Waiting time for transport in such crowded cities leads to less productivity on a whole. People face this problem in their daily life where they have no idea about the current status of their transport. So the proposed solution is an android based application that will help the user to check out the current location of the bus and also will help the user to know how much time the bus will take to reach the current location of the user. The system will use IoT as the basis for the application and basic android application will be interfacing with the updated database to provide the real-time data to the user, hence enhancing the user-experience.

Today various applications are developed which are performing various complex operations simultaneously. Now, it is not important what applications are being developed, rather the importance here is what data is being used, and how these data are stored. So the main aim in every type of applications is to reduce the overall time and space complexities.
XML plays an important role in these type of web applications. XML document comparison becomes a central issue in database and information retrieval, during development of application. Many heterogeneous XML sources have similar content and different structures or vice-versa. Hence to centralize all related information about a topic, merging of XML files according to certain standards is of greatest need and many solutions are emerging...............

We analyze the case of putting forth a interface for generating 3D scenes from input texts. The component of natural language understanding is framed as a problem of semantic parsing, in which a structured representation of input texts is created and then linking it together for a meaningful representation of scenes in space. We incorporate a dataset of 3D objects that are recorded with natural language texts and learn how to generate 3d scenes from descriptive texts. This system renders 3D scenes for a correct user input by analyzing text parameters and also allows user to interact with the generated scene.

This paper presents design and development of an intelligent robot that easily operates on uneven surfaces with six-legged arms. The system design depicts the "Intelligent Robot" that supports voice activation system as well as operates through the keyboard. Legged robots are appropriate to stroll on troublesome landscapes to the detriment of requiring complex control frameworks to walk even on level surfaces. Be that as it may, essentially strolling on a level surface does not merit utilizing a legged robot. It ought to be expected that strolling on an unexpected landscape is the run of the mill circumstance for a legged robot. In view of this commence, we have built up a vigorous controller for a six-legged robot that enables it to stroll over troublesome landscapes in a self-sufficient route; with a constrained utilization of tactile data (no vision is included). This walk controller can be driven by an upper level which requires not be worried about the subtle elements of foot arrangement or leg movements, taking consideration just of abnormal state angles.

In the modern scenario parking and traffic jams in metropolitan cities have become a common problem, the number of vehicles being seen on city roads have increased to a large extent and because of this it has become more problematic for the vehicle users as they are not able to park their vehicles due to the limited spaces. The cost for parking expansion is usually prohibitive or extremely high. There is a need of an application based solution that uses IOT sensors, IOT data integration and GPS to guide the people for the best available parking spot. At the same time the application should flag an alarm to security personals when there is disobedience of parking rules in the metropolitan cities. In this paper we propose the system of technologies which can be used to solve the above stated problem by making the application system automated, easier and faster in the coming future. Use of RFID technology, Ultrasound sensors, Raspberry Pi, CoAP, NFC can be done avoid the human interaction which minimizes the cost.

This Paper Presents An Automatic Railway Protection System By Controlling And Monitoring The Train Movements Using PLC. Nowadays Even Though Automation Plays A Vital Role In Almost All Areas But Still Railway Protection And Control System Is Not Completely Automated. Currently The Railway Network Protection Parameters Like Gate Control, Identifying Track Cracks, Track Collision, Grade Crossing, Traffic Light Indication Etc. Are Controlled Individually Either Manually Or Semi-Automatically By Their Respective Processes. Even Then A System To Control All Parameters Simultaneous Does Not Exist To Ensure Safety Operation And At The Same Time The Entire Control Is Given Only From Control Room Using Embedded Technology Which Is Tedious In Monitoring And Providing Required Control Under Critical Situations. To Overcome These Problems, The Proposed Research Provides Both Monitoring And Control Of All The Above Said Parameters With The Provision Of Issuing Automatic Control In The Locomotive Itself Using PLC.

We Live In An Era Where Billions Of Computers Are Interconnected. In The Very Near Future, Not Only Computers But Also Many Different Digital Devices And Other Physical Objects Will Be Seamlessly Connected To Each Other And Be Able To Communicate With Little Or No Human Intervention. These Connected Objects Are Called Smart Devices, And This Perceptionis Called Internet Of Things. In This Paper, The Focus Is On The Application Of Iot In The Smart Classrooms. The Aim Of The Paper Is To Discuss How Intelligent Ambient Can Be Used To Provide Real- Time, Automatic Feedback On The Quality Of The Lecture Based On The Number Of Parameters. To Our Knowledge, This Is The First Attempt To Specify The Problem And Analyze The Requirements. The Parameters Of Interest That Should Be Collected And Analyzed Are Discussed. Finally, The Main Requirements That Such A System Should Comply With Are Presented And Proposed As The Experimental Design.
